We all do have responsibilities in our lives, to our family, friends and responsibilities to our community and environment. We also have responsibilities as a consumer.
Here are the Five (5) Responsibilities of Consumer
1. Critical Awareness - Every time we are going buy our basic needs, we should always read the label and information about the product and check the Ingredients and Expiration date.
2. Action - Upon buying make sure that the product has no defects and in good condition, if the product is defective, inform the crew of the store to take action on your concern, if it can be Repaired and if not, you have the right to ask of a Replacement of the product, of to ask for Refund. Report any illegal activities like Over Pricing and Hording.
3. Social Concern - Always know the effect in the society of the products or services you are going to buy. Also consider if this can help the local farmers, fishermen and local producers to uplift their way of life buy patronizing the locally made products.
4. Environment Awareness - Before buying, consumer also must consider the effects of the products on the environment. Remember the 3 R ( Reuse, Reduce, Recycle)
5. Solidarity - Be part of the in a community that protects the right of consumer and observe if the law is being exercised. Be a responsible consumer.
