7 Tips on How to Stay Healthy on Your Next Adventure

One of life's greatest pleasures is traveling. It provides the chance to encounter novel cultures, environments, and adventures. But traveling can also be harmful to your health, whether it's because of exhausting flights, strange foods, or time zones.
I've discovered some tips that will help me keep healthy while traveling because I love to do it.

1. The most important thing for travelers to remember is to stay hydrated, especially when traveling. I always make sure to have a reusable water bottle with me and I make sure to stay hydrated all day. I try to stay away from sugary drinks because they can further dehydrate me.

2. Eat a balanced diet: Maintaining a healthy diet when traveling might be difficult, but it's crucial to do your best to do so. I try to consume a lot of fruits, veggies, and lean protein while avoiding big meals that can leave me feeling lethargic. I choose to eat small snacks all day long instead.

3. Exercise is absolutely necessary: I schedule time for it even while I'm traveling. I make it a point to work out in my hotel room or go for a walk after packing casual clothing and sneakers. It keeps me refreshed and energized.

4. Get Enough Rest: It might be challenging to get enough sleep when traveling between time zones and jet lag, but I try to establish a schedule as soon as I can. I make an effort to get enough sleep every night to feel rested and prepared for a new day of travel.

5. Wash your hands frequently: Hand hygiene is crucial at all times, but more so during the present COVID-19 outbreak. I make it a point to wash my hands often during the day and always keep a little bottle of hand sanitizer on me.

6. Prior to leaving on a trip, I make sure to take a few necessities, including tissues, hand sanitizer, and medicines. I also usually carry USANA CoQuinone, a premium CoQ10 supplement, and USANA Cellsentials, a complete multivitamin and antioxidant supplement. These supplements help me stay healthy and happy all the time, especially when I'm traveling.

7. Avoid getting bitten by insects by wearing long sleeves and pants and packing insect repellent if you're going somewhere where mosquitoes are a problem. This shields me from diseases spread by insects like malaria and dengue fever.

These tips have helped me stay healthy and completely appreciate my travels. I make the most of my trips because I pay attention to my body, take care of myself, and rest when I need to. Travel safely, everyone!
