For about an hour Facebook users were not able to log-in successfully to their respected accounts, including Instagram, Tinder, AIM, and Hipchat.
Facebook says that the outage was an internal faulty, and not caused by an outside attack:

This group also claims responsible for leaking passwords, on PlayStation, Amazon, EA Games, and Xbox Live.
In the Philippines, a barangay captain in barangay Salawag, Dasmarinas, Cavite, passed an ordinance banning the addictive online game, DotA (Defense of the Ancients) in all internet shops within the barangay.
A netizen posted on facebook, a screen shot of the Facebook account of the barangay captain, intended to pass another ordinance prohibiting on using Facebook in his barangay.
