Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) officer was caught on video, from a Netizen Jay Ramirez. According to Top Gear Philippines' Facebook fan page, Mr. Ramirez already reached out on MMDA's website about the indecent but got no response from them. The alleged incident was happen along Starmall, EDSA-Shaw.
"He doesn't do his job and he just sits around. He only stands up to collect money from the buses (P20 per bus). I see this almost every day" Mr. Ramirez
However, after an hour of the video was uploaded The MMDA's Facebook page responded about the alleged misconduct by one of their traffic officer.
"Hello Top Gear and Mr. Jay Ramirez. Thank you for calling our attention to this matter. We are already having our Traffic Discipline office investigate and look into the identity of the enforcer. We will make sure that this is properly addressed. Again, thank you."
"Chairman Francis Tolentino has ordered the immediate suspension of the traffic constable involved in the video taped kotong incident pending investigation of the case wherein due process will be observed. He stressed that he will not tolerate illegal street activities among MMDA personnel and encouraged the use of video cameras by motorists and the general public to help attain a disciplined society as well as for evidentiary purposes." -MMDA
