Beginners Tip: How to Remove Blog Title Header/Widget in Blogger

Blog Title header is located and display at the top of every blog page,  the widget by default can't be removed. For customization purposes and you want to remove the widget from the your blogger template, you just need to edit the code.

Here's how to remove the Header Widget from the template.

Step 1. Log-in to your Blogger Dashboard.

Step 2. Backup your template.

On your Blogger Dashboard click/drop-down 'more option' and Click 'Template' then at the upper right portion click Backup/Restore, and Download the full template.

Step 3. After you Download your template, Click Edit HTML

Step 4. Search the code without double quote  "widget id='Header1" and change the locked value to 'false' to unlock the widget. Then Click Save Template button.

 Step 5. After saving, click on Blogger Dashboard. On your Blogger Dashboard click/drop-down 'more option' and Click Layout. Now you can Remove the Header widget.
