Super Typhoon 'Yolanda' Enters PAR

At 8:00 a.m. 07 November 2013, the eye of Typhoon "YOLANDA" was located based on all available data at 712 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur (8.6°N, 132.8°E 

According to ABS-CBNnew, Robert Sawi, chief of the PAGASA’s weather division, said “kung ang hangin ay lalagpas pa ng 185 kph, delubyo na ang mangyayari sa tatamaan ng signal number 4. Kung tuloy-tuloy ang track, ang signal 4 ay itataas sa three provinces sa Samar, Masbate towards Romblon, northern Panay and Mindoro area.

He said the destruction could mean “halos wala nang punong matitira sa areas [with signal number 4].”

THINGS TO DO
  • Be updated on weather condition, on Radio, TV, and Internet 
  • Stock enough foods for at least 3 days, (Canned Goods, Noodles, Rice)
  • Store Drinking water and for dish washing
  • If water level is rising, elevate your electronic devices, (TV, Computer, electric fans) and Turn off main source of electricity
  • Buy Batteries for flash lights and Radio, in case of power loss/brownouts 
  • Check/clean up drainage system near your houses
  • Check/fix holes on roofs
  • Evacuate if there's an advice to do so, safety first!
  • PRAY!

God of protection, spare us O Lord, from this super typhoon -('Yolanda').
