Common used Keyboard Shortcuts

Ctrl+N     Opens blank document
Ctrl+X     Cut- Cuts the selection and put it on the clipboard.
Ctrl+O    Open   
Ctrl+C    Copy the selection and put it on the clipboard.
Ctrl+V    Paste the content of the clipboard
Ctrl+S    Saves the document   
Ctrl+A    Selects all item
Ctrl+P    Print the document
Ctrl+F    Find - Searches for text in the document
Alt+F4    Exit - Close   
Ctrl+B    Bold - Makes the text bold; removes bold formatting
Ctrl+Z    Undo the last action   
Ctrl+I    Italic -Makes the text italic; removes italic formatting
Ctrl + Y Redo
Ctrl + U Underline;removes underline

Ctrl+]  Increase selected text one point

If text is already selected and you want to extend the selection area

Shift+LeftArrow Extend selection one character to the left

Ctrl+Shift+RightArrow Extend selection to the beginning of a word

If you want to move the cursor

RightArrow One character to the right        
LeftArrow One character to the left
Ctrl+RightArrow One word to the right        
Ctrl+LeftArrow One word to the left
Ctrl+Home To the beginning of a document
Ctrl+End To the end of a document
